Get a BOOST for your mind, body & soul.

We provide a safe and social space for people to meet, chat, learn new skills and get active

Reducing anxiety, building confidence and self-esteem.

BOOST sessions prioritise fun & friendships. Helping people to improve their mental health and broader wellbeing through participating in activities they enjoy is important to us and our sessions are open to all, regardless of ability.

Using community & connection to improve Stockport’s mental health and wellbeing.

We deliver a weekly programme of sport and group activity sessions across Stockport, ranging from non-contact boxing, football and weight training to lower intensity activities such as walking and yoga. There’s something for everyone.

Do you know someone who could use a BOOST?

BOOST works with a large number of statutory services across Stockport as well as charities and voluntary and community groups to identify and support people with mental ill health, who might benefit from participating in regular exercise and activity. Our partnership with health and care professionals and social prescribers means that we are well placed to offer tailored programmes and support to some of our most vulnerable and disadvantaged residents and communities. Please get in touch today if you support or work with anyone who might benefit from BOOST.

If you are working in support services and would like to refer someone to our BOOST programmes, or you would like to self refer, please click here to be taken to our referral form.

“BOOST has made these sessions accessible for all. They are fun and encourage attendees to have a go. There are always plenty of laughs and encouragement along the way. We all support each other and it has helped with both my physical and mental health.”
